With the blessings of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM — the ultimate manifestation, Paramavatara of Paramashiva — KAILASA PONDICHERRY celebrated the auspicious daily rituals of Abishagam and Rudrabhisegam on January 7, 2024. These sacred Hindu rituals were conducted as part of the Nithyotsavam (daily celebration) schedule at the KAILASA Puducherry Adheenam, ensuring the continuous flow of divine grace and spiritual awakening for the local community. The events, focusing on devotional worship to Paramashiva on the auspicious day of Somavara (Monday), connect devotees directly with THE SPH to manifest the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva. This dedicated service, carried out by 5 committed volunteers, reinforces KAILASA's unwavering mission of reviving the ancient enlightened Sanatana Hindu civilization globally.
Abishagam
The sacred Abishagam (ritual bathing) ceremony was meticulously performed at KAILASA PONDICHERRY, embodying the highest form of devotion to Paramashiva. This daily ritual is a fundamental pillar of the Nithyotsavam schedule at every KAILASA Adheenam, dedicated to radiating the divine energy and grace of THE SPH into the surrounding environment. As the event took place on a Monday (Somavara), the time was particularly auspicious for performing the dedicated Rudrabhisegam, a powerful Hindu ritual honoring Rudra (a form of Paramashiva) through the ceremonial bathing of the Shiva Linga.
The Rudrabhisegam is an ancient Hindu spiritual technology aimed at cleansing and energizing the collective consciousness, invoking the powerful presence of Paramashiva as gifted by THE SPH.
