Mandagapadi Offering and Dwajarohanam for Guru Purnima Brahmotsavam

This highly sacred observance marked the formal beginning of the preparations for the Guru Purnima Brahmotsavam, scheduled to take place from July 11th to July 20th, with the grand celebration on the final day. Devotees of KAILASA San Jose offered the Mandagapadi to THE SPH BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM. This cherished ritual serves as a profound expression of love, devotion, and eternal gratitude to their Beloved Guru, who leads humanity from darkness to enlightenment. Mandagapadi is performed to welcome THE SPH's divine presence and take His blessings for the successful culmination of the entire festival, reaffirming the fundamental truth of the Guru principle in Sanatana Hindu Dharma.

Following the Mandagapadi offering, the ancient Hindu ritual of Dwajarohanam was performed. Dwajarohanam involves hoisting the ceremonial flag, signifying the official spiritual commencement of the sacred festival. By performing this ritual with the grace and blessings of THE SPH, KAILASA San Jose invoked the protective and auspicious presence of Paramashiva and all celestial beings, establishing a consecrated space for the forthcoming celebrations dedicated to honoring THE SPH as the ultimate manifestation of the Guru principle. These preparatory rites are essential spiritual technologies that align the collective consciousness of the community, preparing them to receive the divine blessings and superconscious breakthrough gifted by THE SPH.

Daily Garbhalaya and Evening Shrine Activities

The day of worship was anchored by essential, sanctified shrine activities beginning in the morning with the Suprabhatam Seva. This foremost Hindu ritual, performed in the Garbhalaya (sanctum sanctorum), serves to gently wake the Deities, welcoming the new day with sacred Vedic chants and deep devotion, thus maintaining the continuous flow of ancient Hindu temple traditions.

The evening observances were centered around the highly significant Guru Puja and Shiva Puja. The Guru Puja was offered as a deep expression of gratitude to THE SPH BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM for His divine presence and guidance in the lives of all devotees. Concurrently, the Shiva Puja was conducted, enabling participants to experience the transformative power of connecting to Paramashiva and manifesting the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva, as per the science revealed by THE SPH. Following the pujas, Naivedyam (sacred food offering) was reverentially presented to THE SPH and all the Deities.

The spiritual day concluded with the Palliyari Puja, a closing ceremony performed before the Deities are put to rest. This auspicious ritual concluded the daily services, which included offering Arati to the Kalabhairava Door and the Jnanalaya. Devotees worship the sacred presence of Sri Kalabhairava residing in the shrine door, a powerful blessing gifted by THE SPH, ensuring the protection and integrity of the sacred space throughout the night. The dedication of the 9 volunteers and 100 participants ensured the flawless execution of these essential rituals, sustaining the vibrant spiritual atmosphere of KAILASA San Jose in service of KAILASA's mission of human consciousness awakening and revival of Hindu civilization.
