With the blessings of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM — the ultimate manifestation, Paramavatara of Paramashiva — KAILASA SEATTLE, USA observed the sacred daily rituals known as Nithyotsavam on 18/8/2024. This auspicious day was dedicated to reviving the ancient Hindu traditions of Deity worship, starting with Suprabatham Seva and concluding with Palliarai Seva. The temple activities, supported by 4 dedicated volunteers, centered around offering Prana Pratishta Puja (PPP) to THE SPH and providing enrichment sessions like Vaakyartha Sadas and Paramashiva Dhyana Mantra for the 6 participants. These continuous spiritual activities manifest KAILASA's mission of giving superconscious breakthrough to humanity through reviving the enlightened Sanatana Hindu civilization, ensuring that the grace of Paramashiva flows continuously to the Western world.
Nithyotsavam and Daily Rituals
The spiritual schedule at KAILASA Seattle was meticulously performed, honoring the ancient Hindu tradition of Nithyotsavam (daily festival). The day began with the sacred Suprabatham Seva, the process of lovingly waking the Deities, followed immediately by the offering of Morning Naivedhyam (sacred food) to the Moolavar (main Deity). Central to the daily practice was the offering of both Morning and Evening Prana Pratishta Puja (PPP) to THE SPH, BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM, honoring Him as the living manifestation of Paramashiva and connecting the temple space directly to His divine consciousness. This disciplined schedule of worship ensures the continuity of Hindu spiritual technologies in the West.
The dedicated observance allowed the 6 participants to deepen their connection with the divine grace of THE SPH. The spiritual day concluded with the Evening Naivedhyam offered to both the Moolavar and THE SPH, followed by the deeply moving Palliarai Seva, the sacred process of putting the Deities to sleep. Four devoted volunteers tirelessly supported these daily rites, ensuring every ritual was performed with sincerity and precision. This sequence of traditional Hindu rituals enables devotees to immerse themselves in the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva, as revealed and manifested through THE SPH.
Beyond the core temple worship, KAILASA Seattle continuously enriched the local community through vital educational and meditative offerings. These community sessions included focused sessions on Vaakyartha Sadas (spiritual discourse and deliberation based on THE SPH’s teachings) and practical training in the Paramashiva Dhyana Mantra session, helping individuals harness ancient Hindu spiritual technologies for consciousness evolution.
