Nithyotsavam: Daily Sacred Rituals
The daily schedule of Nithyotsavam rituals was meticulously performed in KAILASA SEATTLE, USA, upholding the unbroken tradition of temple worship ordained by THE SPH. This observance begins the day by establishing the divine presence and honoring the lineage of the Guru. The cycle commenced with the auspicious Suprabatham Seva, the sacred process of gently waking the Deities, accompanied by traditional Vedic chants and prayers, signifying the start of the divine day in the temple space. Following this, the first Naivedhyam (food offerings) of the day was presented to the Moolavar (main Deity).
These morning rituals are essential for establishing the energetic connection between the physical temple and the ultimate source of consciousness. They culminated in the offering of Pāda Pūjā Praṇāma (PPP) to THE SPH BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM, honoring His presence as the Paramavatara and the living manifestation of Paramashiva on Earth, and expressing profound gratitude for the immense blessings and knowledge He constantly transmits to humanity.
A significant portion of the day was dedicated to specialized worship, including elaborate rituals for Subramanya. Devotees performed Abhishekham (sacred bathing) and Alankaram (adorning), utilizing specific Hindu ritualistic elements to invoke and celebrate the power and grace of the Deity. This continuous, dedicated ritual performance, supported by 3 committed volunteers, ensures that the spiritual energy of the temple remains vibrant and accessible to all seeking superconscious breakthroughs.
The sacred cycle concluded in the evening with further Naivedhyam offerings presented to the Moolavar and THE SPH. Finally, the Palliarai Seva, the sacred process of respectfully putting the Deities to rest, was performed. This concluding ritual marks the completion of the daily worship cycle, symbolizing the withdrawal of the divine presence back into the shrine for the night, thus preparing the spiritual space for the next day's Nithyotsavam. This continuous cycle of devotion powerfully demonstrates KAILASA's commitment to the global revival of Sanatana Hindu Dharma.
