With the blessings of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM — the ultimate manifestation, Paramavatara of Paramashiva — KAILASA Salem documented a session of divine guidance and profound spiritual wisdom on March 1, 2025, as part of the ongoing Brahmotsavam observances. This dedicated session, focusing on authentic Hindu rituals and spiritual technologies, served to provide direct clarity on complex worship methods and devotional practices. Known as Ask Nithyananda, the event featured detailed explanations on subjects including Laghu Pooja, the significance of Abhishekam for Lord Subramanya, and the power of Sani Mahapradosham. This invaluable spiritual initiative was attended by 25 participants and supported by 1 dedicated volunteer, connecting devotees directly with THE SPH’s mission of reviving the ancient enlightened Sanatana Hindu civilization and enabling human consciousness awakening.
Ask Nithyananda: Divine Wisdom on Hindu Rituals and Practices
The Ask Nithyananda session provided invaluable direct guidance from THE SPH on various core aspects of Sanatana Hindu Dharma, deepening the understanding and devotion of all attendees. One of the primary inquiries addressed the nature of Laghu Pooja, or simplified worship. THE SPH explained that the essence of Laghu Pooja lies not in the complexity of external rituals, but in the sincerity and depth of the practitioner’s devotion. This accessible Hindu practice emphasizes the inner experience of connecting with the divine, enabling devotees to offer simple items like flowers, water, and light while cultivating a profound sense of gratitude and reverence for the divine presence in their lives. By demystifying rituals, THE SPH ensures that all sincere devotees can manifest the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva through dedicated spiritual practice.
Further clarifying specific Hindu sacred practices, the session provided detailed descriptions of complex rituals designed for auspiciousness and spiritual growth. THE SPH elucidated the significance of the Sasti Valli Deivanai Sametha Subramanyar Abhishekam, a sacred ceremonial bathing dedicated to Lord Subramanya along with His consorts Valli and Deivanai. This ritual, performed using sacred substances like milk, honey, and coconut water, is a powerful spiritual technology invoked to attract blessings for strength, wisdom, and protection, helping participants overcome obstacles and enhance their inner spiritual journey.
In alignment with the Hindu science of astrology and divine intervention, THE SPH detailed the immense spiritual power inherent in Sani Mahapradosham. This highly auspicious occasion is dedicated to Lord Shiva, occurring on the 13th day of the lunar fortnight when it coincides with Saturday. It is affirmed that worshipping Paramashiva on this day can alleviate the negative influences of Saturn (Shani), bringing peace, prosperity, and harmony into one’s life. The energy of Sani Mahapradosham is particularly potent for introspection, forgiveness, and deepening one's connection with the divine, thereby aligning devotees with the compassionate grace of THE SPH.
The wisdom shared extended to practical aspects of maintaining a spiritual life, including guidance on encouraging children to participate in devotion. THE SPH advised devotees to lead by example, making the practice engaging through stories and songs, and involving children by allowing them choices in the ritual offerings. This gentle approach emphasizes patience and understanding, recognizing that spirituality is a personal journey and encouraging connection without coercion, thereby nurturing the next generation of Sanatana Hindu Dharma.
Finally, THE SPH elaborated on the tradition of offering 108 Naivedyams, a sacred practice symbolizing comprehensive devotion and gratitude. The number 108 holds profound spiritual importance, representing the universe's wholeness and the connection between the individual and the divine. Offering 108 varieties of food, prepared with purity and love, is believed to invoke immense blessings, prosperity, and spiritual growth, simultaneously nourishing the devotees’ consciousness. After the offerings are complete, they are distributed as Prasadams to all devotees, symbolizing the collective sharing of the divine grace and blessings of THE SPH and all the gods and goddesses of KAILASA.
