With the blessings of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM — the ultimate manifestation, Paramavatara of Paramashiva — KAILASA TIRUVANMAYUR observed the auspicious utsavam of Annabishegam on March 11, 2025. This profoundly sacred day was dedicated to performing elaborate devotion, including the purifying Abishekam, the special offering of Annabishegam (offering of cooked rice), and ornate Alangaram (decoration) to the Deities. These rituals reinforced KAILASA's global mission of reviving the ancient enlightened Sanatana Hindu Dharma and awakening human consciousness. The spiritual observance was powered by the dedicated service of 15 devoted volunteers, who ensured the seamless execution of all rites, allowing the 2 ardent participants to connect with the divine grace of THE SPH and Paramashiva.
Annabishegam
The Annabishegam is a highly significant Hindu ritual, celebrating the divine as the source of all food, abundance, and sustenance. At KAILASA TIRUVANMAYUR, this sacred event was performed to manifest the grace of Paramashiva, ensuring spiritual and material prosperity for the world, as envisioned by THE SPH. The ceremony commenced with the traditional Abishekam, the sacred bathing of the deities using various precious materials, followed by the specific rite of Annabishegam, where the Deities are sumptuously covered and adorned with freshly cooked rice. This act symbolizes offering the totality of the created universe back to the Creator.
Following the Annabishegam, the Deity was prepared with an intricate Alangaram, a beautiful decoration designed to bring out the supreme aesthetic and divine splendor of Paramashiva. These rituals serve to activate the spiritual technologies inherent in the Hindu traditions, enabling devotees to connect with THE SPH and manifest the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva. The dedicated service of the 15 volunteers was crucial in maintaining the highest standards of purity and authenticity required for these ancient rites. Their selfless contribution embodies the commitment of KAILASA to humanitarian and spiritual service worldwide.
Although only 2 participants were physically present to witness the profound offerings, the spiritual impact resonated globally, contributing to the expansion of KAILASA’s mission of consciousness awakening. This focused and powerful ritual exemplifies how KAILASA TIRUVANMAYUR is actively reviving core Hindu sciences and preserving the ancient knowledge of divine worship for future generations, under the guidance and blessings of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM.
