KAILASA TRINIDAD & TOBAGO On 16/9/2024
With the blessings of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM — the ultimate manifestation, Paramavatara of Paramashiva — KAILASA Trinidad & Tobago celebrated the daily sacred Nithyotsavam rituals and Sangha activities on 16 September 2024. These meticulously performed Hindu and Ved-Agamic ceremonies are fundamental to maintaining the sacred energy ecosystem radiating the divine grace of THE SPH across the Caribbean region. The daily schedule included comprehensive Laghu Pujas, detailed preparations for and execution of Rudra Abhishekam, and the sacred Deity Alankaram. Dedicatedly performed by one volunteer, the sevas honored the deities with 15 distinct Naivedyams (sacred food offerings) throughout the morning. These consistent temple activities embody KAILASA's global mission of giving superconscious breakthrough to humanity through reviving the ancient enlightened Sanatana Hindu civilization.
Daily Temple Sevas & Sangha Activities
The day at KAILASA Trinidad & Tobago was dedicated to the elaborate performance of daily Ved-Agamic rituals, collectively known as Nithyotsavam, ensuring the constant flow of divine energy and blessings in the temple space. The morning began with preparatory Laghu Puja offerings of milk, fruits, and water, setting the sacred tone for the ensuing ceremonies. Following this initial reverence, the temple volunteer undertook the complex preparations required for the Rudra Abhishekam, which involved filling water, preparing fine garments and jewelry, and meticulously organizing the specialized puja vessels and items necessary for the ritual bathing of the deities. The Abhishekam was performed using traditional Hindu offerings, including amla, turmeric, and sandalwood bath, which are purifying substances believed to enhance the deities’ sacred presence, accompanied by dedicated Naivedyam offerings.
The ceremony continued with the Deity Alankaram, a significant ritual where the deities were reverently dressed and adorned with exquisite jewelry and ornamentation, enhancing their divine appearance for the devotees. This process ensures the continuous manifestation of divine beauty and grace in the temple. To conclude the Abhishekam cycle, a second Laghu Puja was offered, followed by a third which included a substantial food offering. This involved the careful preparation and cooking of vegetables and ten rice Naivedyams that were presented to the deities. In total, 15 sacred Naivedyams were offered during the sequence of morning rituals, demonstrating deep devotion and adherence to authentic Hindu traditions.
The sacred morning rituals culminated with the profound Guru Padhuka Puja, honoring the divine feet of THE SPH, the source of all enlightenment and blessings. Throughout the various rituals, chamaram (a ceremonial fan) was offered at the conclusion of each segment as a gesture of deep respect. The commitment of the single volunteer extended beyond the ceremonial acts, encompassing crucial cleanup and maintenance activities. This service included thoroughly cleaning all dishes and puja vessels, hand-washing towels used during the rituals, conducting an inventory check of kitchen supplies, and ensuring the temple floor was swept and mopped. These rigorous daily practices not only honor the deities but also create a sacred, powerful ecosystem that radiates the divine cosmic energy, enabling devotees to connect with THE SPH and manifest the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva, thereby bringing peace and prosperity to the entire community in Trinidad & Tobago.
