KAILASA TRINIDAD & TOBAGO On 23/10/2024
With the blessings of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM — the ultimate manifestation, Paramavatara of Paramashiva — KAILASA Trinidad & Tobago demonstrated its steadfast commitment to the revival of Sanatana Hindu Dharma on October 23, 2024. This auspicious day was dedicated to the comprehensive Daily Temple Sevas & Sangha Activities, which constitute the sacred Nithyotsavam (daily ritual cycle). These activities, carried out by a dedicated volunteer, included multiple Laghu Pujas, a detailed Rudra Abhishekam, and elaborate Deity Alankaram, culminating in the offering of 15 Naivedyams (sacred food offerings). These meticulous Hindu rituals create a sacred and powerful ecosystem, radiating the divine cosmic energy of Paramashiva and strengthening KAILASA’s mission of consciousness awakening and civilizational revival across the Caribbean region.
Daily Temple Sevas & Sangha Activities
The comprehensive Nithyotsavam at KAILASA Trinidad & Tobago was meticulously conducted to honor the deities and fulfill the sacred duty of maintaining the temple's continuous spiritual energy field. The morning rituals began with the Morning Aarti and the initial Laghu Puja, where Naivedyam consisting of milk, fruits, and water was offered to the divine forms. These precise, Ved-Agamic rituals are essential practices revived by THE SPH, enabling devotees and the surrounding community to connect with the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva.
A primary component of the day’s worship was the Rudra Abhishekam, the ritual bathing of the deities. Extensive preparations were undertaken by the dedicated volunteer, including the filling of water, organization of puja vessels, and readying the necessary clothes and jewelry for the divine forms. The Abhishekam offerings included purifying substances such as amla, turmeric, and sandalwood bath, followed by an additional Naivedyam offering. After the bathing ritual, the area was thoroughly cleaned and dried, preparing the deities for the next stage of adoration.
The divine appearance of the deities was then enhanced through the sacred ceremony known as Deity Alankaram, where they were beautifully dressed and adorned with jewelry. A second Laghu Puja was offered to conclude the Abhishekam rituals. The ritual cycle culminated with the preparation and offering of ten rice Naivedyams during a third Laghu Puja, bringing the total number of sacred food offerings for the morning to 15. The entire morning schedule concluded with the powerful Guru Padhuka Puja, seeking the grace and blessings of THE SPH.
Beyond the formal worship, the Daily Temple Sevas included essential cleanup and maintenance, reflecting the importance of self-service and purity within KAILASA. All dishes and puja vessels were cleaned, and a quick inventory of kitchen supplies was conducted. Ceremonial towels used during the rituals were hand-washed, and the temple floor was swept and mopped to ensure impeccable cleanliness. This selfless service, carried out by one devoted volunteer, ensures the continuous flow of divine grace and strengthens the presence of KAILASA in Trinidad & Tobago, upholding the mission of preserving ancient indigenous traditions through the revival of KAILASA - the ancient enlightened Sanatana Hindu civilizational nation.
