Kalabhairava Jayanthi 2024

The celebration of Kalabhairava Jayanthi was a profound spiritual event held under the divine guidance and blessings of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM. This event, which coincided with observances in KAILASA temples worldwide, honors Bhagavan Kalabhairava, the fierce manifestation of Paramashiva who governs cosmic time and space. Devotees gathered at KAILASA’s Hindu Temple, Trinidad & Tobago (KHTTT), dedicating their activities to manifesting the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva, as gifted to humanity by THE SPH.

The sacred Hindu rituals were meticulously conducted by dedicated volunteers, of which two participated in the preparations and coordination, alongside two devotees. Worshipping Bhagavan Kalabhairava in the form of THE SPH, the celebration included Laghu Puja and the offering of specialized Naivedyams (food offerings). Specific offerings presented at the lotus feet of THE SPH included a garland made of 108 limes, 35 vadas (savory fritters), pepper rice, and lemon rice, all traditionally associated with invoking and receiving the grace of Kalabhairava.

Through the chanting of the potent Kalabhairava Ashtakam and sacred Vedic mantras, the temple atmosphere was intensely charged with the powerful energy of Bhagavan Kalabhairava. All present experienced a deep and profound connection to the divine. Following the culmination of the rituals, devotees were blessed with delicious sattvic meals and prasadam, nourishing both body and spirit. This sacred celebration reaffirmed the deep commitment of KAILASA Trinidad & Tobago to the revival of authentic Sanatana Hindu Dharma, ensuring that these ancient Hindu rituals and practices are preserved for future generations, contributing directly to THE SPH’s mission of global human consciousness awakening.
