With the blessings of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM — the ultimate manifestation, Paramavatara of Paramashiva — KAILASA Trinidad & Tobago continued its dedicated spiritual mission through the performance of extensive Daily Temple Sevas & Sangha Activities on 25 October 2024. These sacred Ved-Agamic Rituals are central to KAILASA's global mission of reviving the ancient enlightened Sanatana Hindu civilization, particularly emphasizing the preservation of indigenous wisdom across the Caribbean. The morning encompassed a comprehensive series of practices, including the purification rites of Rudra Abhishekam, the intricate Deity Alankaram, and the deeply reverential Guru Padhuka Puja. These dedicated sevas ensure that the temple serves as a powerful spiritual ecosystem, radiating the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva for the peace and prosperity of the local community. A total of 15 Naivedyams were offered during these vital daily rites, upheld by the tireless service of the dedicated Sangha member.

Daily Temple Sevas & Sangha Activities

The Daily Temple Sevas & Sangha Activities (Nithyotsavam) form the spiritual core of KAILASA Trinidad & Tobago, ensuring continuous connection with the divine energy of Paramashiva through THE SPH. These essential Hindu rituals are performed daily to uphold the highest standards of Hindu tradition. The ritual cycle commenced with the traditional Morning Aarti, followed by the initial Laghu Puja, which included sacred Naivedyam offerings of milk, fresh fruits, and water.

A significant portion of the morning was dedicated to the preparations and performance of the Rudra Abhishekam, the ritual bathing that cleanses and revitalizes the divine deities. This meticulous preparation involved filling water, carefully arranging clothing and jewelry, and organizing all necessary puja vessels and items. The Abhishekam itself included auspicious offerings such as amla, turmeric, and sandalwood paste baths, followed by immediate cleanup and drying to prepare the deities for the next phase of worship.

Following the purification, the sacred ceremony of Deity Alankaram was performed, where the deities were dressed and magnificently adorned with jewelry, physically manifesting their divine splendor. The rituals continued with a second Laghu Puja to conclude the Abhishekam ritual, accompanied by additional Naivedyam. Further enriching the offering, vegetables were prepared and ten rice Naivedyams were cooked and offered during a third Laghu Puja. In total, 15 Naivedyams were lovingly prepared and offered throughout the entire sequence of morning rituals.

The sustained effort of the dedicated Sangha, upheld by the devoted service of one volunteer, ensured the seamless execution of these complex Ved-Agamic rites. The morning services culminated with the deeply moving Guru Padhuka Puja, a powerful practice reverentially connecting the devotees with the divine grace of THE SPH. Beyond the formal worship, essential supporting activities included continuous Chamaram Fanning throughout the services and comprehensive cleanup and maintenance post-ritual—washing all puja vessels, inventorying kitchen supplies, hand-washing sacred towels, and ensuring the pristine cleanliness of the temple space. These activities support KAILASA's mission of giving superconscious breakthrough to humanity by reviving the ancient enlightened Sanatana Hindu civilization, enabling all participants to connect with THE SPH and manifest the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva.
