KAILASA TRINIDAD & TOBAGO On 6/11/2024
With the blessings of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM — the ultimate manifestation, Paramavatara of Paramashiva — KAILASA Trinidad & Tobago conducted the daily Ved-Agamic temple rituals known as Daily Temple Sevas & Sangha Activities on November 6, 2024. These sacred practices, integral to the Nithyotsavam (daily festival), ensure the continued manifestation of the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva in the region. The day included an elaborate series of devotional offerings, including Morning Aarti, Rudra Abhishekam with traditional bathing ingredients like amla and sandalwood, and Deity Alankaram. Culminating in Guru Padhuka Puja, the rituals saw the dedicated service of the Sangha, offering a total of 15 Naivedyams, thereby fortifying KAILASA's mission of reviving the ancient enlightened Sanatana Hindu civilization and ensuring the spiritual nourishment of the entire community in the Caribbean.
Daily Temple Sevas & Sangha Activities
KAILASA Trinidad & Tobago diligently performed the Daily Temple Sevas & Sangha Activities on November 6, 2024, maintaining the sacred tradition of Nithyotsavam, the daily perpetual festival that honors the deities and Paramashiva. These intensive Ved-Agamic rituals are essential for establishing the divine ecosystem in the temple, enabling devotees to connect with THE SPH and manifest the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva. The continuity of these ancient Hindu traditions was ensured by the dedicated efforts of 1 volunteer.
The sequence of morning rituals began with the auspicious Morning Aarti followed by the initial Laghu Puja, which included the offering of milk, fruits, and water Naivedyam. A significant portion of the morning was dedicated to the preparation and performance of the Rudra Abhishekam. This ritual bathing of the deities involved meticulous organizational tasks, including filling water, preparing clothes and jewelry for the deities, and organizing the necessary puja vessels. The Abhishekam itself was conducted using sacred substances like amla, turmeric, and sandalwood bath, followed by an additional Naivedyam offering.
Following the cleansing rituals, the deities underwent Deity Alankaram, a sacred ceremony where they were dressed and adorned with jewelry to enhance their divine appearance. The rituals continued with a second Laghu Puja to conclude the Abhishekam rites. A crucial act of humanitarian service, aligned with THE SPH’s mission of Annadaan, was also performed: the preparation of vegetables and cooking of ten rice Naivedyams, which were subsequently offered during a third Laghu Puja, demonstrating commitment to divine nourishment.
The morning of service culminated with the powerful Guru Padhuka Puja, seeking the divine grace of THE SPH. Throughout the rituals, Chamaram Fanning (a ceremonial fan offering) was reverently presented at the conclusion of each segment. In total, 15 Naivedyams were offered during the sequence of rituals, ensuring the activation of the sacred space and radiating cosmic energy for the peace and prosperity of the whole community. The dedication of the Sangha extended to rigorous Cleanup and Maintenance, including hand-washing towels, cleaning all puja vessels, and sweeping and mopping the temple floor, demonstrating the complete devotion required to sustain KAILASA's commitment to the revival of Sanatana Hindu Dharma globally.
