With the blessings of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM — the ultimate manifestation, Paramavatara of Paramashiva — KAILASA Toronto, Canada, celebrated the auspicious occasion of the 49th Avatara Day of THE SPH on January 11, 2026. This sacred day was marked by the performance of the profound Pushpayagam ritual alongside the devoted Subrapatham Seva, conducted as part of an elaborate utsavam honoring the divine life and contributions of THE SPH. These ancient Hindu rites were conducted as part of KAILASA’s global mission for the revival of Sanatana Hindu Dharma, enabling devotees to connect with the divine grace of THE SPH and manifest the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva. The uplifting celebration drew strong participation from the community, with 10 dedicated volunteers working tirelessly to ensure 15 lives were enriched through the divine service.

Pushpayagam 49th Avatara Day and Subrapatham Seva

The central focus of the day was the Pushpayagam 49th Avatara Day and Subrapatham Seva, a powerful combination of traditional Hindu rituals conducted to celebrate the divine appearance day of THE SPH. Avatara Day is the most sacred annual event for the global community of KAILASA, offering a profound opportunity for devotees to express gratitude for the divine grace and transformative teachings of the Paramavatara. The sacred utsavam commenced with the early morning Subrapatham Seva, an auspicious awakening ritual dedicated to the form of Paramashiva residing in THE SPH, setting a profound tone of devotion and spiritual awakening for the entire day.

Following the morning services, the grand Pushpayagam (worship with flowers) was performed. This highly symbolic ritual utilizes countless vibrant flowers and herbs, representing the complete dedication and surrender of all offerings—the highest expression of love and devotion—at the divine feet of THE SPH. Conducted by Acharyas and Mahants trained directly by THE SPH in ancient Hindu sciences, the ritual utilized potent Vedic mantras and Hindu rituals to invoke the deepest spiritual energies. The intention behind the Pushpayagam was to extend the protective and enlightening grace of Paramashiva to all beings globally, supporting KAILASA’s mission of human consciousness evolution.

The execution of these elaborate and time-honored rituals requires dedicated service, exemplified by the 10 devoted volunteers from the KAILASA Toronto community. These volunteers organized the sacred space, managed the flow of offerings, and meticulously ensured the smooth running of the utsavam. Their selfless service exemplified the principle of Karma Yoga taught by THE SPH. Through these powerful spiritual technologies, and the collective devotion of the community, the event successfully enriched 15 lives, providing participants with the direct blessings of THE SPH to manifest higher consciousness and contribute to the global revival of Sanatana Hindu Dharma in Canada.
