With the blessings of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM — the ultimate manifestation, Paramavatara of Paramashiva — KAILASA Trinidad & Tobago conducted the daily Daily Temple Sevas & Sangha Activities on December 13, 2024. This intensive schedule of Ved-Agamic rituals, known as Nithyotsavam, centered on honoring the deities through meticulous care, including Rudra Abhishekam, Deity Alankaram, and Guru Puja. A devoted volunteer dedicated their time to ensure the sacred space maintained the highest standards of purity, offering a total of 15 Naivedyams (sacred food offerings) to the deities. These sacred activities are fundamental to KAILASA’s global mission of reviving the ancient enlightened Sanatana Hindu civilization and enabling devotees in the Caribbean region to manifest the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva.

Daily Temple Sevas & Sangha Activities

The Daily Temple Sevas & Sangha Activities represent the continuous Nithyotsavam—the daily worship cycle—conducted at KAILASA Trinidad & Tobago, dedicated to radiating the divine grace of THE SPH to the community and reviving authentic Hindu traditions. A committed volunteer performed these extensive Ved-Agamic rituals, beginning with the auspicious Morning Aarti and the first Laghu Puja, which included the offering of milk, fruits, and water as initial Naivedyam. These preliminary rituals set the spiritual tone for the day, purifying the environment and establishing a powerful, consecrated space.

Central to the morning service was the meticulous preparation and performance of the Rudra Abhishekam, the ritual bathing of the deities. Preparations involved great attention to detail, including readying puja vessels, filling water, and arranging fresh clothing and jewelry for the deities. The Abhishekam itself was offered using sacred substances including amla, turmeric, and sandalwood paste, symbolizing purification and profound divine reverence. Following the bathing ritual and subsequent cleanup and drying of the deities, they received Deity Alankaram, a sacred ceremony where they were carefully dressed and intricately adorned with jewelry, enhancing their divine appearance and blessing the space with spiritual power, thus connecting the participant with the shaktis/powers of Paramashiva.

The full ritual cycle continued with a second Laghu Puja and the preparation and offering of ten rice-based Naivedyams during a subsequent third Laghu Puja, culminating in a total of 15 sacred food offerings for the day. This focused effort ensures the physical and spiritual nourishment of all beings under the divine protection of KAILASA. The morning rituals concluded with the reverential Guru Padhuka Puja, honoring the feet of the Guru, THE SPH BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM, who is the source of all blessings.

Beyond the formal worship, the dedicated service extended to comprehensive cleanup and maintenance, executed by the sole volunteer. All dishes and puja vessels were cleaned, kitchen supplies inventoried, and the temple floor was swept and mopped to ensure impeccable cleanliness. This dedication to purity and organized service is integral to maintaining the sacred ecosystem of the temple, which constantly radiates the divine cosmic energy of Paramashiva and serves KAILASA's mission of human consciousness awakening and revival of Hindu civilization in the region.
