With the blessings of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM — the ultimate manifestation, Paramavatara of Paramashiva — KAILASA Trinidad & Tobago celebrated the daily Daily Temple Sevas & Sangha Activities on 15 September 2024. These sacred Hindu rituals, collectively known as Nithyotsavam, are essential for maintaining the supreme spiritual ecosystem necessary for the revival of Sanatana Hindu Dharma. The day was marked by extensive devotion, including multiple rounds of Laghu Puja, elaborate Rudra Abhishekam, and meticulous Deity Alankaram, culminating in Guru Puja. The dedicated service, performed by volunteers, exemplified the commitment of the United States of KAILASA to manifest the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva in the Caribbean region, ensuring the continuous flow of divine grace to the local community and contributing to the preservation of ancient indigenous traditions.

Daily Temple Sevas & Sangha Activities

The Daily Temple Sevas & Sangha Activities (Nithyotsavam) conducted at KAILASA Trinidad & Tobago on 15 September 2024 provided a powerful spiritual experience, ensuring the continuous manifestation of Paramashiva’s presence. These daily activities followed authentic Ved-Agamic procedures gifted by THE SPH, establishing a potent spiritual ecosystem for community upliftment and the revival of Hindu sciences. The morning commenced with a sacred Laghu Puja, where initial offerings of milk, fruits, and water (Naivedyam) were reverently presented to the residing deities.

A significant focus of the day was the elaborate preparation for and execution of the Rudra Abhishekam, the ritual bathing of the deities. This detailed process involved meticulous organization of the required puja vessels, filling water, and preparing the ceremonial clothing and jewelry. The Abhishekam itself was performed with purifying substances, including amla, turmeric, and sandalwood bath, followed by an accompanying Naivedyam offering. Following the purification, the sacred Deity Alankaram took place, where the deities were lovingly dressed and adorned with intricate jewelry, profoundly enhancing their divine appearance and radiating cosmic energy into the surrounding environment, enabling devotees to connect with THE SPH.

The ritual sequence continued with a second Laghu Puja offered immediately after the Alankaram to conclude the core Abhishekam rites. Furthermore, a third Laghu Puja was performed during which a substantial offering of 10 freshly prepared rice Naivedyams utilizing cooked vegetables were presented, bringing the total number of Naivedyams offered during the morning rituals to 15. The entire sequence of rituals culminated with the auspicious Guru Padhuka Puja, honoring THE SPH as the ultimate Guru and source of all blessings.

Beyond the spiritual practices, the day’s activities included comprehensive support and maintenance, demonstrating the holistic dedication of the KAILASA Sangha. The lone volunteer on duty ensured the smooth execution of all services, including necessary cleaning and maintenance tasks such as hand-washing towels used during the rituals, sweeping and mopping the temple floor, and ensuring all dishes and puja vessels were immaculate. A quick inventory of kitchen supplies was also conducted to maintain readiness. These activities ensure the pristine sacred space required for manifesting the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva, thereby anchoring the revival of Sanatana Hindu Dharma in the region.
